WHO IS MARINA
As I've mention, I was born in Brazil and lived there for most part of my life.
I learned to dream with my parents but unfortunately I lost both of them when I was still 13 years old. I had a hard time following my dreams, so I ended up choosing the "easy" road, which was applying for regular jobs. At the age of 28 I was working for a great multinational company, getting more than 8 salaries a month, owned a house and a car, besides all that I was a single mom who could afford my son in a private school. But how about my big dreams?
Although I already had achieved great goals, in the beginning of 2016 I proclaimed that my life as going to have a big change.
I invested around USD5,000.00 in personal development and a coaching certification, sure enough my life started to change.
First, I lost my job before expected. However I received that as a great opportunity to make things different. I moved to the US and my immigration process seemed never get ready, then I almost frightened.
I was acting like a trained dog, for a couple days I found myself thinking that I needed a regular job or I would not be a successful person.
As after every storm we can see a beautiful sunshine, I took a nice walk by the lake and appreciate everything that was happening in my life: my wonderful family, my new house, the volunteering work I was doing and suddenly a great opportunity shows in front of me. I came across a 21-step program that changed my life!
This time there was no hesitation, no fear or doubt. It was time to invest again, not in personal development but in my career. It was time to become my own boss.
Another dream came true! I started a business that allowed me to spend plenty of time with my family, take a walk by the lake during a sunny day in the middle of the week, travel to any of the 7 continents and still make money from there.
I'm glad I've decided to take action, because a business should not consume my life. Instead, it should help give me more life – a life I am excited about every single day!!
